Man that is me about 60% of the time. I have not had your problem. There maybe other issues. Keep looking. What connector are you using? I use deans and they are prone to the issue you are describing. Just for future info. Thanks.

I had similar, and i used deans, changed to XT60`s, problem gone, the slightest mis-connection, makes things think they have lost power, its more evident on spektrum RX`s, slight spark, then connect, sometime you see the RX flashing, indicating loss of power.

since changing to XT60`s on all my stuff, including planes, the problem of mis-connections have gone away.

Deans are terrible for it imho, the worst connector i have ever used.

I just upgraded my WKM to Firmware v5.16 and Wookong-M Assistant Software v1.34
I did a complete reset after the FW process was completed, reentered all my parameters,
Freshly charged battery..
Here's what happens, motors spin up fine, take off in "A" mode I have a full GPS signal flashing purple, my copter flies fine for about 30-40 seconds, just hovering at about 8-10 feet, then all of a sudden when I apply more throttle, my copter looses power and just falls out of the sky.

Never had this problem before.

After the FW upgrade I re calibrated my sticks did everything.

What am I missing?

Check your voltage protection settings in the assistant....

Never use it I have it turned off.
I did have on the new flight height limit feature on to 50m so I turned that off.

Went out and flew again, this time it flew for about 2 minutes fine, then again after hovering at 10 feet or so I give it throttle and the copter starts to fall from the sky, not a complete cut in power, but I can't land it safely either.

What is the proper procedure to reset the WKM and redo the FW upgrade.

Thanks

Hi, what video downlink / video Tx and Rx are you using? You did not have any disturbance or loosing out on the video. I use a 5.8ghz immersion RC vtx with the clover leaf antenna in both the Tx and Rx but I loose out video signals big time. Your video was flicker free and very clear.
Please share what's your video downlink setup please.

Thanks and Regards
Adarsh

Hi.

I'm using 2.4ghz videolink with 433mhz radio.
Sounds like you don't have the correct channel on your receiver.
For my testing i used the linear antennas, but will put on pentalobe antennas.

Still can't figure out what's wrong. I have tried everything.
Re install 5.16 set everything default the re enter parameters still same problem. Take off all looks good hover at half stick hover for 20 seconds, apply my throttle to go higher and my copter starts to fall..

Where can I download older version of FW and assistant software?

I doubt that is 5.16 software.... to many folks including me are using it , it is the best yet.

I think you need to look elsewhere... check your throttle setting on your radio.. make sure you did not reverse the parameters.. also look again and make sure the throttle is not reversed in 5.16...

I know it is a long shot but it is all that makes sense to me..

Does it just come straight down like you shut it off, or does it veer off to one side and crash? -- JOHN
