Having ESC's doins melodys in a unsync manners doesn't mean that you can't fly. They might be ready later due resistances.

Use to happen on another frame, were I had a resistance to avoid the sparks caused by the 6S. never had issues. It also happened in my S800, went to the air anyway, no issues so far.

Flew 5.16 this morning on my quad and wow is it stable. Had to adjust the gains a bit but she's never flown as good and she's does now. I also have the waypoint kit and its rock steady doing waypoint flying as well.

For safety reason, I'm coming back to 5.14... have works to be done, can't affort another crash!

I am going with 5.16. Do what works for you.

Ed, have you tested it already? I'm aware that people are saying it seems more stable. But people have done only a flew flights yet. 5.14 has been stable. marchino65 seems to had another FOD... What is your opinion on this? I've have several scheduled works for the following weeks... I don't want to send everything back again to DJI due a crash that nobody understand, even if the support is great...

I am uploading it today. I will not fly it until tomorrow. I have the old GPS and have not experienced the FOD. I had a motor fail and was able to land on the firmware a several generations ago.

looking for some gains helps:

Updated to 5.16 on
f550 WKM w/old GPS
2212 and APC 10"

gains are:
120, 120, 110, 90
90, 90

taking off in GPS feels like I am balancing a broom stick... one side raises much faster then the other.. I tried raising the gain, but it seems to raise one side much more quickly.. scared the noodles out of me..

Good thing I have a f550 to test it on.. would had to see the zenmuse go down.
