Well, I didn't know other people had issues. Here's my test last weekend.

FLat Octocopter, Sbus Futaba RX, RCTImer 360kv, Foxtech 14x7s, 5.14 FW, 6s 8000MAH.

I had the exact same thing with a new hexa build on same firmware. I switched the transmitter off to test failsafe, which has always worked beautifully before, and it came back to the starting point, sort of, but then hovered in the air and wouldn't come down. I turned the transmitter back on but I couldn't get control, it just stayed hovering and wouldn't move. It was pretty scary actually, I thought it was going to stay there until the battery ran out. I found that taking it out of GPS let me control it though, so I landed - took it home and wondered what the hell was wrong with it.

P.S. I think DJI should leave all previous working version up on their site to download and allow us to install whichever one we like best.

My octo flew great on 5.12 for about ten flights, then it flipped. Now I don't know ifit was the FW or something else. Thats the problem.

Yaiks! That's what makes it scary. For the same reason, I transferred my z15 onto my 800size heli which has been rock solid for three years now.

Although, I think I'm also required to update my aceone's FW to accomodate the z15. Scared again.

Hey guys,Is it a realistic option to have a completely RC free setup with either of the Click & Go DJI products with the 900mhz data radio?
I'm very curious about ditching rc+lrs and using a completly pc based FPV/AP VTOL setup.

I would like to see if i haven't motor problem ... nothing go back and roll right

second one :
put 3S 4000 with out gimbal camera

I totally agree

Of course to go out from the FS mode you need to switch to neutral posistion with the FS switch then move the mode switch from Gps to Atti or viceversa, and you will get back the control of the Multicopter.

Yesterday i tried to come back to the 5.12 and i solved the issue with 1 of the hexa that i tried, when the wind will stop i will try the others.

hey, for anyone who is interested i have contacted a dji distributor here in the states regarding availability of the older version of software and firmware. as soon as they share the information with me i will post it here for all to use...We are not beta testers!!!

The older versions have bugs, don't they?
I wish they would admitt them, DJI says nothing when problems are seen and just move on. I still don't know if my flat octo crash was FW related.

some of the older versions seem to work just fine with some peoples set up....others don't, but atleast we will have that option now and wont have to keep updating to some unusable beta version that is unsafe..... i dont understand why we wouldnt have that option in the first place....makes no sense.
