It has turned

Although it seems to make the rudder reverse in flapping ailerons, since Wing Dihedral will become large if wings are raised, it has turn in the direction which considered.

flight of a flapping eileron airplane

The bird type airplane by flapping eileron was flown today.
I did video photography with the helmet camera.

Mr. Kanai, sorry about that but IMO your previous turning methods work better. Probably G-LO's suggestion about simultaneously- differentially moving of the control surfaces will help and also will reverse the turning direction.

Best wishes!

Otto

Gents:
completed my scaled hawk yesterday and maiden the bird this AM...
unforunately the bird crashed
this is the first time I have ever crashed my flying pets on the maiden flights
root cause.....the size of ailerons I'm convinced......needed further modification
Cheers

Sam,
I have been watching your bird models with interest. Studying your video of your Hawk design, it appears to be unstable in pitch axis from the moment you launch it. You have far more experience than I with your designs, but perhaps the horizontal area is marginal for the wing area, and or the center of gravity has exceeded the aft postion for your static margin. My comments are suggested by the oscillations in pitch, which appears to end in a stall. The ailerons seem to correct fine and the model appears stable in roll.
Good luck I hope it is not damaged badly. Larry
