I'm new to this hobby and I started with the Hobbyzone mini super piper cub, then I bought Flyzones Skyfly Max. Both I have no trouble with. Today I just bought by Airfield RTF Cessna 182 Sky Trainer 5 channel with flaps from Nitroplanes. After reading some posts in these user groups the first thing I think I should do is replace the ESC. If I leave everything else stock what ESC should I buy and from whom. #2 is there anything else you think I should replace on this plane right away. I don't want to go up in flames
Thanks for all your opinions.
Mike

Repainted

My father is in the Civil Air Patrol, and couldnt pass up this plane from nitroplanes. He stripped the striping of it and decals, masked it and painted it with Krylon spray paint. As long as you dont get to close or to heavy of a layer, this paint will work just fine. I printed out the decals and it came out great

Plane flies great. Flying it with a DX7 radio and with the flaps programmed with some down elevator, it lands and flies like the real one. i would say 4.5 stars for nitroplanes, with quality.

The only thing it needs is a shock absorbing nosewheel.

The grass is long at our field and this plane surprisingly takes off with no problem

I am very impressed! That is certainly the best I have seen! Thanks for sharing it with us!!
Yes I agree, a functioning shock would be a great addition.

Now I have to go paint my plane!

I didn't order it with their radio - I use my Airtronics RDS 8000
