UK Gyronuts August Meetup

Hi All

Its been too long since we had a UK flyin so I would like to invite any interested model autogyro flyers to a meet up at my clubfield on Sun 7th August.

I already have some confirmed interest so it would be great to see you all. We are based 2minutes from M6 Junction 11 (north of Birmingham)

Please let me know of any of you can come.

Cheers

Rich

Well it looks like there will be a few of us turning out so here are some directions.

From M6 junction 11 take the exit from the island signposted Willenhall A462.

Follow this for about 3/10 of a mile, you will pass the entrance to the Hollybush garden centre on the left and come to a small island.

Take the second exit (straight on) and after about 100 yards you will see a gate to the field on your right hand side.

We can fly from 1pm so I will be there from 12.30 ish to open up.

We have a fair size grass strip that should be freshly cut!!

Looking forward to seeing anyone who would like to come, PM me for my mobile number if you wish.....hey Anup you got that RPG finished yet??

Cheers
Rich

The nearest postcode is WV10 7LX which is for the Hollybush nursery very close by. Hope this Google earth view makes sense

Hi Ricardo

If you stand at the field gate and ask your satnav for help and 'where-am-I' you will get the Longitude/Latitude numbers.

These are great for finding a flying field. We used them in holland!

Regards
Andy

Just like to say a big thank you to Rich and his club for letting us fly today, Light winds but 3 showers (one a thunder storm!). A very nice field and a beautiful area.
It was also to good to see Cali and fly this time rather than worrying and running around like he does at Winterton. And the smile on his face when Zeus did her first controlled hop!!

I will upload a few photos later
Sorry the others couldn't make it, will see you all next time.

A few photos taken today.

I have never noticed before, but when Cali's autogyro takes to the air he does a funny thing with his leg. For obvious reason I cannot show you what he does when he lands
