It is really impressive how many different planes and different styles of planes parkzone is releasing. I have so many 3s lipos this planes no brainer.

Wow, you were right! I had no idea this was even possible, very cool video, it made my day. Thank you!

Heheheh, there it is

I like how when he flips it at about 1:30 he's able to just run out and flip it back over. If that had happened on water he'd be going swimming... So snow evidently has at least that advantage over water

It looks like there is no venting for the battery and esc. Not to mention the issue with mixing water with electronics. I can see that it may have a vent for the motor but again electronics and water dont mix.

Ottertail, I'll hazard a guess that the Horizon team figured out how to keep the electronics dry.

The motor, in fact, can be run totally submerged and the only parts of it susceptible to damage are the bearings. The same can't be said for the rest of the components, but again I'm fairly sure they're clever enough to prevent water-related damage.

I know-- The Icon was scheduled for release at my LHS two days ago.
Parkzone is now saying Mid-November, closer to Christmas than today!

I just came from my LHS.
He had an Icon sitting in a box, but it was a Sharper Image product/name.
Otherwise it looked to be the A5.

Dave, has anyone flown the Icon A5 from a snow runway?

Up north here we try to get double duty from some of our water birds.
