This one is probably going to get my money. I'm not too concerned about the DX6i issue - it seems to be very clearly explained in the manual. It looks like all you have to do is remove the hatch, switch two connectors on the receiver and then retape the hatch back down. No biggie.

I've never flown anything like this so I'm sure it will be different, but that's a good thing I think!

My biggest question now - is it faster than the Sbach? I would assume that it is since the BL motor is 3000Kv versus 2500Kv in the Sbasch.

I'm also wondering what might happen if you put a 5043 prop on it.

And lastly... like others have asked, I'm hoping that I can fit my 2s Hyp 240's in the battery compartment. I assume that if it won't naturally fit that some foam can be carved out but I'd much rather it fit natively.

From Chuck's video unboxing there looks to be a lot of room that could be carved out of the foam for various batteries.

I sure agree! There's no way HH could have generated as much pre-release interest as Chuck did, nor can they keep up the interest as Chuck will with this thread.

Although this RCGroup may be limited in numbers, HH needs to appreciate that these members are the ones who will go out to do the grass roots word-of-mouth "selling" - if the product is deserving.

Smaller prop... (3.75 x 3), but spinning faster and with a lot of torque (almost squared, like the big brother which as a perfect square of 6X6). Should be faster stock. I think the 5043 will be waaaaay too much on this one though (and a bit dangerous for the fingers, but Chuck already demonstrated that no power hand launch are easy!)... A 4X4 could likely be the hot ticket here, but again, if HH and QQ have choosen that prop, it's probably dangerous to go higher...

Edit: Good news is: I have a bag of GWS4040 in stock. Very nice little prop but large hub, like the 5043.... Too bad it doesn't have the 5030 hub, but at least, no spinner to worry about

why would your sbach batteries be obsolete? the 180's should work on it, just slightly lower flight time.

Chuck (or anyone),

Your video showed an adapter which permits you to use your regular charger with the new 2S battery.

What make/brand is the adapter? Where is it available?

Thanks.

Dave
