I use hyp 240s because when i cut the foam inbetween the battery and the rx out and shove the rx back and push the battery right up against it i get about the right CG.
Plus it also flies better with some more weight, more inertia. Have MA 300s, but havent tried em yet, might not be able to push them back enough to get the CG right.

The CG on the lil stryker is extremely important, unless you want the plane to loop on its own at full throttle.

Is this a clear out to make space for updated versions or is it simply a new price point reflecting the fact they're not AS3X equiped?
Doesn't make sense to have older tech that cost the same as the new.
I don't see $100 off the full size Stryker?!?!

Shove them as far back as possible, cut the foam inbetween the battery and the rx and push the rx back, then push the batterry against it.

Anyway I just ordered a Stryker in case you are right and it's being discontinued.

Hard not to speculate, the latest offerings, Mini Vapor, 280 size Edge and 3 channel co-ax heli (I mean, really?) are all non-AS3X and they have to top the current line-up..
If I felt really sure that they were discontinuing the um stryker or even "updating" it with as3x, I would find a way to get me another old one now for sure. My original is still in great shape, only crunched the nose learning how to get in the air, but it is one plane that I do not have any desire for the as3x system in. It handles as much wind stock as the as3x planes do and is about as bad habit free as any plane I own. In any more wind than it will easily fly in flying just isn't any fun for me anyway.

Price for the BNF is $249.99, was $349.99 (PNP out of stock)
But I admit I haven't a clue as to when that price was reduced..

It looks like everything is price reduced on their website, so it's hard to tell if it's a genuine price reduction. I think it would have to be lower to be really "on sale", tho the free shipping is nice (if they had it in stock!).

I like my 180 ma nanotechs.. Last as long as stock, and with the lighter weight, it rips. 300 ma would make it a tank..
