Not sure if delta wing mixing and elevon work the same way.I tried every configuration I could think of and the stryker just would not cooperate..
I just finished a test flight with the board in my sbach and it flies very good ..

Wow, he is using the rudder and the elevator servos. Since the gyro programming is done on the receiver itself, it make things even more interesting. If a force push the wing up or down, only the right elevon should move, sending that wing into a spin. And if a force is trying to push the wing left or right, the right elevon should move up or down! So again, force move left or right, only one elevon work, wing spin.

Since the Tx has no idea what the Rx is doing, there's no mix that could send whatever gyro signal to the second elevon. Maybe some HEAVY hardware modification to the receiver (physically rewiring some stuff on the Rx itself so those gyros act on both servos at once?)

A Delta Wing needs an Elevon Mix unless separate ailerons and elevators are used. My Dad did this on his Viggen so that the Canard could be used as Flaps

I am interested in getting the Stryker UM from PZ but I use a Futaba TX. Has anybody bought the body parts and suitable electrics to do their own scratch build? What are my other options? Could I buy the BNF and just replace the RX/ESC?

Hardly worth the hassle when you can get a cheap Spektrum Tx that lets you fly all the BNF models that HH are putting out.

Of course there are other places online where you can buy Spektrum transmitters from. Again, the dx6i is probably what you want to go for.

I am not sure I understand, can you explain a bit more? Unless I am missing something, the dx6i binds just fine without modification.

What tx are you currently using?

I have various Spektrum Txs' but won't use my 6i as I'm not opening it up until I have to!

It is not a problem with binding. The Elevon mix is wrong and won't work on a 6i. The manual does tell exactly what to do.

I would have thought that the new batch of UM Strykers would have come ready to use with the 6i, the DX8 and I presume the DX7s have an Elevon B mix should it be needed...

It's just a matter of cutting a small piece of clear tape and changing some plugs, hardly a big deal.

I just hate the way you feel the need to disagree with everything I say!

Never said it was a big deal, just that I use my other Txs' with the Stryker
