Did any of you completely remove the foam block in the rear of the battery slot and place the battery all the way back to the receiver?

I was hoping that cutting out the foam block won't weaken the structural

integrity of the plane???

What elese can be done to lower a terribly forward COG in it's stock form!

Try adding a BB (as in BB gun) to the rear of the plane. A typical BB weighs 0.3gm. I have added one to mine however it is still nose heavy. I've been having so much fun with my Sbach and Beast that I haven't experimented further with the Stryker. U may need to add at least 2.

You can set it
Turn on your tansmitter put throttle to full then plug in whatever UM you are flying that has BL motor listen for the tones then move throttle to mid point wait for tones move throttle back to full wait for the beeps 1st you get one beep wait and you will hear 2 beeps wait some more and 3 beeps wait some mre and 4 beeps once you hear the 4 beeps bring throttle to "Off" position wait for tones and unplug battery you will then be set for Strongest brake its a full 15 second wait to get to the 4 beeps. Remember you have to have the throttle at full wait for tones go to half throttle then back up to full and THEN wait through the three other settings it takes 15 seconds to get to the setting you want.

Mal, I finally got around to trying this and it worked great! The one difference is at the end of it when I went to full off it just kept cycling through the brake tones, it didn't hold the setting. I finally figured out I had to go to half throttle at the end rather than full off, then it emitted a different tone and I unplugged, plugged back in and it was done. Sooooo nice to have prop brake when the throttle is cut now, no more windmilling prop!

There's a chance your Stryker will get damaged when the servo locks up!

I'm setting up the rates now. Is it best to limit the travel in Servo Setup? I could then use the triple rates for 40/70/100% as normal...

I have limited the Rates to 65/70% and now it does not seem to have the recomended deflection as per the book...

Surely as long as the Hi Rate deflection does not exceed the quoted amount then all should be ok

Got a chance to maiden my plane and it'd the first of its kind I have had chance to fly. I am loving it but have to get mores batteries and I am not getting horizon batteries.

What has regroups figured out about replacements?? Maybe a nanotech??

RCBABBEL all the way for batteries. I have 2 of his 240mah and love them. Been thinking about getting some 180mah as well. For those slow fly, relaxing, harrier flights..

There is a lot of choice. Personally I prefer the MA210s because they come with the correct connector.

I do have some Hyperion 180s but not used them yet as they have JST plugs and wont ballance charge till I swap them over...

What's the damage for those and how good are they?
