Sweet!!! Can't wait!! I flew my Extra at a small airfield today in North Carolina.. It was a blast, and the extra really performs!!
Sweeping downwind KE loop, violent KE spins, and rock solid hovers!

After two packs there was at least 10 people watching, the pilots loved it, and we got some cool picks!

The rx go's on the battery tray extension, behind the wing tube.. The ESC go's on the bottom of the motor box under the cowl..

I just wanted to thank Chris Jewett(Hurcdriver)for showing me a great time!! We flew all day! Not only did we dial in my Extra, get some great picks, and filmed some great video! I was also treated to some of the best flying around!

Just wait untill you guys see the video of Hurcdriver flying his Extra!
By the end of the day, I really started to get a feel for mine.. It's one sweet Airframe!!

Thanks again to Chris, and the rest of the SC crew!!

Hey Tim, I had a great time today! You are a great guy to fly with and I look forward to the next time!

You guys should have seen Tim absolutely tearing it up with his Extra today! Great skills and really fun to watch!

Guys, we threw down from 830 am to sun down at the Spartanburg Skynights field in Spartanburg SC. Flew the 88, 78, 60s and 48s non stop all day. Burned 2 gals of gas through the generator charging batteries!

I have found my most preferred way of flying. Get a couple guys who love to fly and stand on the runway all day passing the transmitter around and work on various maneuvers. There's nothing like practicing one maneuver and then watching two other people practice the same thing with the same plane. I learned a lot today!

Maidened my Extra today! Woohooo!! That is one bad mother of a plane! I was very, very pleased with it and cannot wait to get out there and fly it even more!

Here are a few pics from today. Tim has the video on his camera and you all probably won't see that until he gets home to NY to upload it.

Why isn't the extra on their website?

They tried to put it up, but it was so awesome that it broke the internet so they had to take it down

It's in the store option but is already sold out. Looks like u guys had a blast. Wish I could have made it up. Was talking to cmanns tonight and gettin pumped for next weekend.

Yeah, Cmanns bailed this today. That's OK because we had more fun than he could have handled!
