I think im just an tad missunderstod. I have no issue to load My 60" edge and i really love it but aspire to bigger bird also, as an compliment and My practical load length is....78" so now, like 5 mins ago i ordered the 78" extra. But My wishes would be an spanking new EXP 78".
Any way...

I understood.. Ive been eye the 78" Extra also, But then I think? Well If I'm going 78" I might as well get a 88" Edge On Hacker 12s..

For know I can fit two 60" planes, three 48" planes and all my Gear in the Audi Avant..

I know One 88" and one 60" will fit..

Thanks! It's my pleasure!

There's no official date, but it sounds like they will be available within the next two months..

Speeking of pleasure.. I just flew 6 packs threw my blue 48" Extra EXP.. No wind!, no bugs!, 70deg!, and perfect sky's!! It doesn't get any better than that..

Resulting in a very light noise when spinning it by hand..Fortunately Extreme flight has bearing, and shaft kits in stock. Mine didn't need a new shaft, but I decided to replace it while I was in there.
The 4016T is easily serviced for $25.00 in parts, and a little effort..

Tools:
Extreme flight shaft kit
Extreme Flight Bearing Kit
Heat Gun
2mm Allen wrench
screw driver's
4x.70 tap
bearing grease
red&Blue lock tight
small punch, small tack hammer
Soft piece of wood(Popsicle stick)
Padded surface

I like to Repair a unit like this by using heat, and cold to my advantage. When disassembling the motor, you should flash heat the 2mm set screws in order to loosen the lock tight(WARNING! When I talk about adding heat, its moderate,DON'T OVER HEAT PARTS). Also when we install the new parts, I place the new bearings, and shaft in the freezer for app 30min(this will make the metal contract). Just before assembly, heat the motor case(heating case will expand the metal) apply grease, and then install the cold bearings. By using this method the parts should slide together with little effort. After assembly, Set these parts aside and let them reach room temp, before proceeding
Great post. I got a couple to replace after tonight's flying!

Enjoy the great weather and the great flying! There was little to no wind here in the Nashville, TN today. However, the temperature was 95 with high humidity and a heat index over 100.

The new line of 60" EXP's are amazing, and the Extra is the best flying plane in that size range I've flown!! Can't wait for it to be here in the states, Chris did his homework with these planes. Tim, you're so close, only a state away, it would be cool if we could get together and fly some time again.

I would like the second scheme to be the red/black/yellow like on the 48" edge.

Or r/b/y scheme but with orange/metallic dark purple/white instead.

+1 Yes, the red, black, and yellow scheme would look great on the 60" Extra EXP!
