Yes it will work. You only need a 60 on the Torque setup but a 100 will cover it just fine.

Great! Thanks Chris, I thought it might be adding too much weight...

Tried to order mine but had problems with the codes on the gift certificates I got for christmas.

I would agree with this. I used 5245's on my kids and will use them on mine but we have 225"s in the previous generation 58" EF Extra and they are rock solid. Cheap too My kid beats the snot out of that plane (it has a saito 82) and has never had an issue.

Thanks for the building Videos Tim - those are really helpful! I have a question about the ESC mounting though - I usually use industrial strength velcro on about anything http://www.lowes.com/pd_184582-388-9...ductId=1052627 (around $8) - Do you think it would work on the ESC so I get more air flowing on the surface without covering that with a velcro band? I guess that's a typical trial and error situation right? Happy Flying! Andreas |

In the past I tried the Velcro method with smaller planes, and the heat eventually separated the Velcro from the ESC. Theres also a ton of G's on these 60" planes, when you fly them hard! so I've learned to strap everything down..

On the 60" Extra and Edge, I used 2 zip-ties to hold it down. Works great, and doesn't act as an insulation.
