I want to power my NQD a via jet-drive
Currently I'm running the boat, NQD High Wind, about 26'' in length, with 2X 2835 2200KV motors on 3S. I want to use these motors in my 20'' catamaran. Then when thinking of what to put in this boat I thought why not make it a jet drive? If I can get the speed of a Apache catamaran or more then I will be satisfied.
What setup am I looking at? What jet drive, what motor? on what voltage? I do want to keep costs as low as possible though, but are prepared to spend if needed. Can this boat with its deep V even take a jet drive? |

Thanks. I will leave the threads for tomorrow to have something to read at work lol.
I've heard about the KMB but where can I buy one. I mainly get Graubner jet drives when I do a search. |

Jet boats arent really speed demons compared to surface drive . My jet boat was clocked at 20mph but It looks quick

26" is a lot of hull for a smaller drive, you'll need a ~28mm drive for sure.

I see some guys go the small twin drive route. But I think I want to go with a single setup this time.
Where is the best place to shop for these drives? |

Two small drives would have to be VERY close together, or the hull would have to run very wet to keep the jets primed.
Remember that the full intake has to be in the water or you'll lose suction and all thrust. |
