Accucel-8 ($46 plus shipping) will get you 150 watts max / 7 amps max .... but you will need a power supply to go with that like ..... > http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ht_5906wt_1372 ($37.85 shipped). YES I am slightly over the $75 mark .... but just showing that a few dollars more will get you more amps and way more watts .... if you need it. I know lots of people who use the AC680 and love it. |

About a year ago I started moving into bigger planes, hotter EDF set-ups and, of course, larger mAh packs.
I had been using the HK Quattro and, like Capt. Obvious said, it was fine for my 220mAh and smaller batts. Charging my big packs on it was killin' me. I bought this charger just a few weeks back and have been pushing it hard. So far so good. It's been pooh-poohed quite a bit here on RCG but it seems they may have finally gotten the bugs worked out of it. I know this along with a paraboard are just outside your price range but I thought I pass it on. |
