Looking for uk based dslr octocopter pilots

Hi there,
I make films and have recently used a dslr and an octocopter for a project. I have fallen in love with flying cameras! I have a couple more interesting projects coming up and am looking to connect with licenced pilots with or without their own octocopters with dslr camera mounts in the UK.
Paid, of course!

Please get in touch ( i am not a weirdo but i think some of the work people are doing on these forums is really fantastic!)

Thanks!

I have a large T-copter that carries a Canon 550D. It has 5 motors, not 8 though.....

Hello pilots

Hi N3m1s1s
I may well come back to you about this as i am keen in the long term to aquire my own copter so i can begin to understand flying capabilities, so thanks for letting me know!

Garry S, that sounds really interesting, what kind of camera rig do you have on your copter? Can it pan and tilt?

Can tilt, pan by yawing (rotating) the whole aircraft. Drop me a PM if you'd like to know more, but I'm offline now until Monday

Hi Paul
I'm based in London although it is unclear where filming would take place at the moment. Probably within the M25. Do you have a DSLR mount on your copter?

Not at the moment. A mate is trying to develop a stabilized head based around a DSLR. Unfortunately its taking time. It will also need a Octo to lift the combined weight of the head and camera and that's something else that I do not have.

But if we do get something together in the near future I will get in touch.

Do you have any sample footage from your last project.?

Regards
Paul
