A Skyclimber has just arrived from Hobby King's U.S. warehouse!

I am illustrating assembly and the eventual flight on RCG here:

I'm thinking of buying full internals from one of the aileron planes. Then I could transfer everything without too much hassle. Today I installed a new aileron servo since the original was really twitchy. No chance to fly it yet.

Skyhawk: there's plenty of room to put new stuff in. Look on YouTube for skysurfer upgrade, a guy put standard servos and rec/esc in without too much trouble

I bought a couple of 370s actually. They fit but I haven't flown it yet.
I wish the video had some more details too.

6A plush esc

Mine has all of the stock parts, just placed a carbon rod in the canopy area for bracing, and with a clever install standing them up I am running the Zippy 350's with no issues.

I run with the Zippy 20c 350 and it works great just stock, flies forever. Braced some with CF in the cockpit area and wings as well, I will try and get some pics on here soon of it.

Just ordered a Skysurfer and two Zippy 20C 350mAh to go with. I'll add my usual http://kewlartdesigns.com Suisse sticker set and give a it a proper sailplane look, might even drop in a light pilot figure. I really could have flown one of these on my holiday to the coast of Maine last week! One of our campsites was right on the water of Belfast Bay and a steady breeze all day, would have been nice sloping, my 2meter sailplanes are two big to carry around. Photos as soon as it arrives, here's a really nice video I found.

Cheers, Thompson
