Are you saying the stock P2k motor is both stronger yet lighter than the stock RP motor? I was thinking the heavier RP motor would be stronger - in some way being "the better" motor of the two, and that the extra weight penalty would be worth it...?

What if I went with the stock P2k motor and the RP esc?

(Sorry, I do not understand it all - I just would like to get the best bang for the buck - thanks for the suggestions).

Yes, the RP motor is about 30g more then the Turnigy 2836-1000 en about 50g more then the stock motor (If I remember correctly).

You can use it ok, I flew with it for a while. But still your best bet would be to get a Turnigy 2836-1000!

For the price tag, Radian standard

For much more $$, a Hyper Ava, its a practically a 4M Radian and a 30 minute flight is a drop in the bucket.

My Magellan-E XL eats radian-pros for breakfast ....

It all comes to $$$$ , in its price range, the radianpro is probably the best, but it is like asking if there's something better than a honda civic , the question again, it depends on the $$$$ ....

If we bear the original posting in mind any non-foam sail plane is outside the scope of this thread.

Very true. I wished to ask a specific question about foam electric sailplanes. If you look at the post count on RCG it appears the Radian and RPro have the highest post count in the foam glider category.

Was wondering if there's a better foam electric glider to replace my busted RPro. I purchased a Phoenix 2000 - taking HK a long time to get it here though.

I feel your pain because I lost orientation while flying my Easy Glider Pro and did a hard nose-in 'landing' that seems to necessitate getting a new fuselage and tail.

Thanks for those Doubletap. I'm glad as I looked thru the list the one I ordered looked the best (to me)

And as the starter of this thread - I'll break my own rules in saying that maybe if this next foam glider dies a tragic death, maybe I'll then step up to one of these.
