No problem. Had a rough landing at the beach a few weeks ago, wing clipped a few branches that washed in from the storms. Damage wasn't extensive but I fly this plane far and want the piece of mind of a fresh wing. I'll be working on the new wing this week and I'll document the process of embedding the uhf rx, running servo/rssi extensions, and ferrite placement.

I need a new wing myself. May just opt to get a new kit since the price difference is not that bad.

I would buy the kit as well! Who knows, one of you may need a left wing and the other a right

Having a full kit on ice is your best bet with this plane. There are no reasonable sources for parts in the states.

Why would you say that? This plane is already so cheep they couldn't possibly go any lower on the price!

Its still relatively inexpensive but the included servos, motor and esc are crap. Thats atleast another $20-30 that can be removed from the price.

I have the motor that came with it seems to fly ok. If they remove all the stuff in your list the Raptor would be $19.95 including shipping!. How would they make a profit?

I'm using the stock Raptor motor on my Popwing. It's a surprisingly efficient little motor.

Stock motor is not a powerhouse but it's definitely no slouch! It moves this little wing pretty well.

Has anyone with the NTM 1800kv 28mm motor had any problems with their motor mount getting a bit melty? Using the stock 8x4 with a 3S.

My brother in law has the same setup and his power meter says that motor is drawing 40a at full throttle when it is rated at 30a max. We have a 60a ESC.

That is probably right when you factor in the efficiency of the esc and the motor. 25% thermal loss of energy sounds about right.
