Will start testing on Lawmate 2.4 whips and it everything works well. I'll transition to the Immersion tracker using a 14 dbi patch. Telemetry seems to be loading to the tracker and Iphone on my ground station. Special thanks to alpha1 actual for the help months ago... Wish me luck!
Good luck man! Grab video of your maiden.

Well, I just received a shipment of servos cant have enough servos!. I will be using a Guardian on my Raptor. I wanted to ask if anyone here uses digital servos on their Raptor?. I figured the Guardian makes the servos work harder and as such make the stock servos easier to fail. I have a stock of 40 of these Digitals here and I also have 20 of the 900 series analogs. This link will show you the new digitals HK has here in the US. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=19678 I really don't care if digital servos use more power as I will be happy with 10 minute flight times. I just want some opinions on using these digitals on a Raptor THANKS!

WOW! I just got delivery of my new for future use SU35 from Hobby King. This jet is HUGE! I cant believe how large it is compared to the Raptor. Take a look at the two boxes next to one another! [URL=""] Of corse I could never fly such a big RC plane, but when I saw it I just had to have it.

I don't know why you would say such a thing! I would never try to fly a SU35! it is way too advanced for me!. I just wanted it to display in my home. Freewing make beautiful planes. The scale work on the SU35 is a work of art!. I will put it together adding any and all upgrades possible. I have budgeted $1000. just for my SU35. It will then be put on a shelf in my basement for show only. You have to have many years of experience to fly the 35. I saw videos of this model in flight and it was so nice I HAD TO HAVE ONE! (its good to have a rich wife)

Bah, you should know I'm just playing. She's, a beauty. It would be a shame for it to sit on a shelf. Build it!

- 2215/20 1100KV (EMAX) + 8x6 + 40A => Ok too, didn't notice the difference with previous, maybe lower amps consumption.... have to check
Have u tried 4cell on the rctimer 1500kv i have one and are thinking of mounting it on my raptor on 4 cell.

That motor is a great choice for the Raptor. You may need to modify the motor tower a bit to fit it, but its an easy mod and you'll want to reinforce it anyway. The ESC is good but @80 grams its on the heavy side. I would suggest a Turnigy Plush 40a, or 60a to play it safe.

I am starting to test the electronics that will be in my Raptor. So far everything looks like it works! I figured since I will be using cheap digital servos I needed a BEC with a little extra punch to avoid those nasty brownouts. 5 digital servos draw a little more power than the standard ones. This BEC gives a steady 5amp draw with a 7.5 amp max.-
