I have built it and tried it without success but I haven't given up on it yet I am on Revision 3 of the glider trolley. I am having problems on the grass because of drag, caused by the grass and unevenness of the field

I hope everything works out well.

About the unevenness you mentioned,
the take offs I did from grass were so successfull because the field I am using is actually a runway for ultra light airplanes from the local club. So it is perfectly levelled with no bumps or holes.
At least this is what I think, because when I used as a runway another part of the grass field (out of the runway) my raptor jumped and stuck all the time.

CG when carrying lots of Video and Telemetry Gear????

I have a new 3300mahr battery the cg is fine on the mark. But I'd like to add a video camera and some telemetry gear weighs about 120 to 140 grams. Are you guys adding weight to the tail or just flying the Raptor nose heavy. If I size down the battery to 1300 mahr I can balance with the FPV gear but I'd like to have a big battery for my motor and longer power time.

Never nose heavy, it's dangerous.

My current raptor is setup as follows:
RangeVideo 800mw vtx and RHCP cloverleaf on tail.
Eflite Power10 (122g), 8x6 APC
60a Plush ESC in cutout @ center of foam canopy piece in front of motor tower
Castle 40a ubec, EzUHF diversity rx, EzOsd, 100a current sensor all mounted around COG in fuse
TBS69, GoPro Hero2 up front
4s 3300mah + 3s 800mah (20 min flight time)
or
3s 5000mah + 3s 800mah (30 min flight time)

*The 3s 800mah powers TBS69 + vtx
**I removed the wood platform in the front fuse area and replaced with foam board lined with industrial velcro.

@Tom
What type and size wheels have you experimented with on your Dolly?

I have tried 3" and 5-1/2" wheels I will post a pic tomorrow. I am absolutly sure it would work fine on a smooth surface but it is not really workong on grass. To hard to get velocity necesary to lift off.

Okay yupe why post a build video if you don't show the build

As we all probably know already, the instructions that came with the raptor are really really pretty bad. Being a newbie to building and flying planes, i've been chasing raptor build videos and info for days now. He&^, the instructions are just as good (the worse). Alishamau, who i always thought a great guy (funny too), he even disappointed me with his 7 minute video, leaving all the important stuff out, shame shame.Would it have taken to much of there time to say:

1. i'm gonna show you where the screws go.
2. this is how i installed my servo horns and replaced my servos
3. i placed my battery here, you might wanna do the same
4. you should replace your stock esc like this, with this
5. etc.

Great plane. I tried out my friends once and very stable. I use an AXN but I'll get a Raptor one day.

If you don't like getting ripped off buying one of those "name brand" planes (ie PZ) then get used to the Chinglish instructions. Most of these value planes come with instructions that are worthless, just take your time it's not that complicated. On the other hand, there's like 8 screws or something! You want me to show you where they go...?

I agree, the build instructions suck. A parts list would have been nice, as well as any indication of which screw goes where. On my first build I stripped the receiving end of the screws that hold the tail section. It's a bit of trial and error. Save the largest screws for the wings (4). RE: Stock servos and ESC -Toss them in the spare parts bin, don't fly with them. Remove the aileron servos carefully with a flat head screwdriver, creating a fulcrum beneath the servo and slowly prying it upward. There is a small bead of hot glue beneath the servo that will eventually detach, just go slowly. HS-65mg servos are excellent, super smooth servos if you can afford them. You won't be disappointed. Replace the stock 30a ESC with a 40a or higher. I replaced it with a 60a Turnigy Plush, a popular ESC that performs well.
I hope this information is helpful.

I took the stock aileron servos and moved them to the flap positions which is a less critical control surface. Then used HXT900's for the ailerons.
