Need servos for Cox Extra/Nine Eagles

Belongs to a friend, he lost the big gear off the servo. It's like $70 to replace the Rx/servos. I think I can use other servos, but this is a 2s system, and it seems everything is 1s? What can I use? Anyone have a crashed one for parts, or ideas?

Try a google search for something like
nine eagles extra 300

some web-sites from Hong Kong (perhaps myrcmart, miracle-mart) sell parts for this.
At $70, it may be more cost effective just to buy a new plane from one of these web-sites.

Thanks for the links! I think buying a BNF replacement would be best, It seems HK has them for $59.00 I was just thinking I could buy a $7.00 servo and glue it to the side and wire it in. I just wasn't sure of the voltage difference (1s vs 2s)

servos

Take a look at the HK micro system. You may be able to get one of thier servos and wire it in. Should work ok on 3.7 volts of the 1s.

What if you put a diode in the servo + wire ?
