VTOL Bi-Copter - Tri-Copter Hybrid

Hi, I am investigating the feasibility of building an RC bi/tri-copter hybrid. I have attached the basic design and I am looking for suggestions or comments.

Main Props: 1200w x 2
Rear Prop: 245w - 345w x 1

I expect to run a 16x10 3 Blade Propeller I have yet to decide on the rear props.

The design is roughly based off the SA-2 Samson, the vehicle from Avatar, and I expect the flight controls the function the same, ie tilting props et al.

I plan to build a simple tri-copter to get a feel for things.

Your questions and comments are welcome. Thanks,

disco

I think this T-Copter is pretty similar in concept. Two larger motors in the front carrying most of the weight, smaller motor/prop in the rear.

I also used the same lifting concept for my VTOL F-35.

Bottom line is that this configuration should work you ,no problems.
