Sorry, after a couple of "tune-up" things I'm doing on my 72" Extra (replacing the motor), and my 70" Velox (motor remount with the motor box I had laser cut), it's next... ....and who said it was unloved and unwanted??

Anyone still flying the V1 47" Edge besides me? This plane is a blast using a APC 13x6.5 prop on 4s or 3s with a Torque 2814-820. Of course light throttle management is required for 4s.

The problem with him is that he has never been around other dogs since he was a pup...and was raised with cats, so, he thinks he is a big fricken cat!!! And minds just like one!!

No, but I have the 55" version of that, and with a Reaper GR-60 in it that rocks!!

I had a Reaper 35 in 47" and just recently took it out to put in a new 42" Slick. I plan on using a 1300 Hyperion 30c lipo. I may have to place the rudder servo in the tail for balancing.

Also, I have a new Reaper 25 that I could use to build a lighter slick.

I must agree as I have a 48" Edge (need to repair soon) then got a 51" Slick & a 47" Extra. Out of the three the Slick is my favorite but I won't recommend it till your good with a edge or extra as it's need a skilled pilot to get the most out of her.
I do have a 57" extra I'm just about to start on so I thing if anything I'll sell the 47" as it doesn't always goto the field like the Slick does

i agree for the slick... but i dont for 57sc... as strange as it sounds, sc WAS my favourite/only big airfame, but since i trashed it and bought 60 EF edge, i somehow like it more...it still is harrier monster like the sc, but its BIGGER, seems to be more locked into eveerything and it hovers almost as easy as slick(only thing i HATED on sc was hovering)


since this is 48" thread, i just ordered another 48"... lets see what i think about it after such a long time and grown skills! i could call it returning to roots since this was my first 3d balsa...

I used an APC 12X6 prop-4s battery- most of the time on my Edge and thought I would try what I kept reading was the ideal 3s set up for an Omega 130, a 14X7 Xoar. I got a Falcon prop instead and found the hole in the prop was too big for the motor shaft. I tried every spacer I have around here. No luck. How do you guys make a fix for that? Is the hole on the Xoar too big for the shaft as well ?? l because I just ordered a couple of those. Thanks.
