Actually, car manufacturers are required to supply replacement parts for ten years

I'm fully aware that cars and model airplanes are not on the same level but my comparison is not any more irrelevant that the Aprilla one from a couple days ago.

I'm not looking to restart this argument so I will not offer further comment.

I did have fun flying my Edge at lunch today but I couldn't get my pop tops to work right. I kept ending up inverted instead of in an upright flat spin. My timing on something must be off.

I've got mine on 4s 2200s with a 770kv motor and a 14x7 prop. Control surface throws are 45 in the tail and 35 on the wings

Pop tops are tougher on this plane than most... At least for me they are. If I ever end up invented then its usually because I held the entry aileron too long.

Try entering inverted- push at the top to start your snap. I agree the Edge isn't the easiest to pop top but when you hit it off it is impressive.
Good luck.

Exactly, so them saying they have spare parts is false advertising. I simply won't buy another plane from them because parts aren't available.

Should we start a thread for this discussion about spare parts? I'm tired of reading it in this one. I don't blame people for sharing the same frustration as many other people but this is hardly the place for a continued dead horse beating of the subject.

+1. Don't want to stop anyone from speaking their mind. However, the point seems to have been made and any further step needs to be taken up with 3DHS. "Out of stock" is a phrase we all see, all the time, on all sites. Part of the game. At least it is a hobby and not a vaccine!

If you guys want to keep bitching about it then make a new thread for it. If it's an issue for you then it's an issue for all ARF planes known to mankind so create a generic thread and have at it.

These are toy airplanes. Let's keep it in perspective here.

So, back on topic! Anyone putting skis on the Edge? I put some on my tech one yak since it doesn't have pants. Or are you all in warm climates or just smart enough to indoor and sim fly when it gets below 50?

The flying season in the Carolinas is a 12 month season.

We get a few random winter weather days and it does get a little cold at times but not enough to stop most people form flying and/or playing golf.

47 degrees and very overcast here (see pic)....Hurts my old bones, Weather forecast is for rain, so, I don't feel like driving 18 miles (one way), only to get rained out..... so, I'm going to spend part of the day installing a new firewall in my 72" Extra. I'm installing a Hacker A60-5S in it, and as I have said before, I don't like "swiss cheese" firewalls...
