I wish I had video the other day. A beautiful fall day. I mowed our 200x80 grass field and flew my Tech One 1100mm Yak 54, My Dynam Peaks and the Edge with gusts to 25. They all flew fine. The Yak was the most fun since it was the lightest- into wind, hover and it backed up about 40 feet in 2 seconds! I just laughed to myself since I was all alone The Peaks just stood still for me in harrier , hover and landed in 0 feet! The Edge took me by surprised when I gave a little power to taxi and it was 2 feet in the air! You have to remember the wind is not the enemy, turbulence from nearby trees and obstructions is what will cause the "upsets". When your model is up at 100 feet it is flying in that wind. I read somewhere, "learn to harrier and you can fly anywhere in any wind". It's true. Don't let the wind keep you from having fun. Think of our friends in the midwest, they would never fly! FLy low AND backwards! Practice that slow flight and harriers up at altitude to get comfortable with elevators, up and down.

Check out some of Dave Bloomer's videos. That guy has constant gale winds, and still hucks it like he stole it.

Heck, when it gets windy, that's when I fly my "buck Huck"!!!

Hey guys! I have 2 ? so as i have been building my edge i have noticed that were u bolt the motor to is pitched to the right or left (depends ) how u look at it font or back , anyhow do you have to shim the motor ? or was it built wrong ? or is this normal ? 2? (buck Huck) what does it mean , lmao im new to all of this thanks for any fb
