I USED to have a 51 slick. Still have the 48 edge. What are you trying to learn?

I can get you a picture of both but the Edge has no motor in it yet.

If you really don't want to do it the way the instructions say, you could slide a piece of K& S aluminum tubing over the cable and tighten the screw down on it.....but guys....doing a pull/pull system really isn't that hard.....as "they" (who the heck is "they"?) say..."it isn't rocket science"!!

P.S. I have a carbon fibre spilnter in my finger and I DON'T like it!

Carbon fiber in a human body is NOT good....make sure you get it out!! This summer, we had an incident at our field where a 40% scale aircraft got away from a guy on the ground. He was actually starting it where he shouldn't have, and it headed right towards a bunch of guys. Just as it started to come off the ground, one wing caught one of our young members about wist high, went around him, and headed for another guy. The guy got hit in the knee by a large carbon fiber prop (about a 28" I believe), and it tore his knee up, when around him, and came back and hit the same knee, almost taking the guys kneecap off. The prop shattered, and imbedded carbon fiber into the wound, and the hospital had a heck of a time getting it all out. They are worried that they may not have gotten it all, and it may go to his heart.....NOT GOOD!!!!

The Slick has a much wider and longer fuse. The difference between 48" and 51" is only 1.5 inches per side and most of that comes from the wider fuse.
