I am flying for the first time Futaba tomorrow (assuming I can program the radio) so I am naturally paranoid... This is how i setup the antennas. If you don't think its right, or if I should choose a better configuration, please let me know...

Thanks!

Only thing I might change is to run the other wire toward the tail, so they do not cross. Other than that, looks a whole lot neater than my wiring!

Wish I hadn't waited so long to decide to get the Omega 130 for this plane!!

I finally got comfortable landing my other planes and want to get this one in the air.

Well, You snooze, you lose!! Out of stock for a while. At least the wind has been blowing 25+ for the past few days so I don't feel too bad.

Guess I'll re-do my charger layout while I wait for the 130 and the wind to cooperate.

Jeff

hmm, trying to setup the 8FG.

I must have done something wrong.

- When I turn it on I get a "Motor" alarm? If I ignore the alarm everything seems ok (i.e. the motor doesn't start to race or anything) and everything seems to work as it should. Why is the alarm on then?

- Before I had the throttle cut programed and now all of a sudden it wouldn't let me do it (I only get INH or OFF).

Is your throttle stick all the way down when you power the tx on? (I don't use Futaba, but I assume this would be the same for all radios..)

yes, if not then I get a separate alarm ("throttle alarm"), for a total of two alarm. If the throttle stick is where it should be, I still get that "motor" alarm.
