Me too! I've got my EPP Yak packed up (along with my 51" Slick and my 57" Extra) but I think I'm gonna switch my Yak out with the Edge!

love it so far, haven't brought it down too low yet, and for some reason it is hard to get it to turn right in harriers, easier left. hovers are so easy, KE has a bunch of pull to the gear and rolls out, I almost have it all mixed out, but not quite there yet .But........ it is just plain fun, it just has the most crazy fast rolls, great KE spins, walls are fantastic, blenders are a mixed bag, I can't get it to flat spin but one revolution. I had an absolutely blast with my Edge this morning! I'm now very comfy in inverted harriers and I was pulling from inverted harrier to hover effortlessly today. It should be easy but it's been giving me issues lately.

Love this plane!

Yeaaaaah! Only had time for 4 packs today and what a rush. I'd like to think I am making progress. Got the hang of "Elevator". The trick was not to try and stall it from level flight but rather parachute it (Thanks DocAustin!). The entire field could hear the voices in my head each time: Land! Land! land! But I decided to be good about it and abort until i know how to harrier land. I did manage a few of those but they are not consistent yet. Now remember I come from a field of circle fliers. All of a sudden my buddy goes "oh wow that so cool" and "I wonder if my plane can do it" (he flew an Eagle 580 - those embry riddle matt chapman ones). I told him to come back tomorrow with at least 45 degrees on his control surfaces... LOL
Its funny, now I know what you mean by wing rock. I thought it was when I was trying the maneuver and had to apply the ailerons to go back to the form .
Today tough it was rocking/oscillating the wings ever so slightly without any input from me all the way down. Not to worry, I saw tons of tips here to address it already.
This plane is seriously addicting and it just look ridiculously good in the sky.

Cracking on with the Edge, made a bit of a mess with elevator hinges but rectified it, will know next time. love the Torque motor and Airboss 45 just plug and play with no soldering which is a bonus for me. Reading your flying experiences can not wait to get the Edge flying.

What a let down. Didn't get to fly the Edge today (but perhaps it was only for the best). On the second flight of the day I crashed my Formosa II on final approach due to signal loss. Telemetry registered 2 holds. I am just happy it happened with the Mosa and not the Edge. After it happened I did a lot of range testing in the field through the rest of the day and got nothing but holds. The Rx in the Edge failed multiple range checks as well and decided it is not worth it. Something was jamming the signal today. At home everything was fine so I know it is not the Tx. Never had that there before (though that field is notorious for DSM/X issues). very odd. May switch Tx brands. Just sucks to have to spend $500 on a new Tx as oppose to more 3DHS Planes...

I used to have a DX7s, then I got a 7C, noticed it was SOOO much quicker in response time, and never lost a plane. Now I have an 8FG and couldn't want anything else!
