I want to thank SteveT too!

Today was cobweb morning, when it seems that plane is not flying, but hangs in the air. I've done two flights on 59 Slick and then switched to Edge. I'm struggling with KE spin with Slick, and I realy enjoy it with Edge. Had some violent transitions from KE spin to flat inverted spin. Savox servos rocks! And after flying Slick I was flying Edge low and slow and close, as it's feels much more comfortable to me (I had only 16 flights on Slick). But during the last flight on Edge I looked somewhere and when I looked back at the plane it was flying straight at me and I couldn't decide was it inverted or not. So I've decided that it's in straight flight and that was wrong, made half loop and landed in the grass. Broke landing gear, one bottom stringer and made a hole in the front section of the right wing. Fortunately nothing serious.

I got a notification that the EF micro tail wheel was back in stock so I pulled the trigger. Will let you all know how that works out. Honey do's, grocery shopping and other things today so no stick time until tomorrow.

I don't have the 59" Slick but I do have the 51" and it can be a little tricky to get it into a good KE spin. I find that I have to play with the ailerons a bit to coax it into the KE spin.

With the EF tail wheel you have to make a flat spot on the wire or the tail wheel will turn freely eventually. Scrub to 9:00

Anybody ever tried a 15x6 prop on this plane? I bet the post stall flight would just be sick if the motor can handle it. And based on this nice calculator it looks like the motor can handle it.

I might slap one on there and give it a shot this weekend. I think I'll just dial the top end of my throttle down to about 85% or so just to make sure I don't go above my 60 Amp ESC's limit.

What is the approximate all-up weight of this plane by the way?

Thanks. I think I'm gonna try a 4s battery in my Edge again this weekend just to see what I think. When I first started out I went with a 4s setup but I had no clue what I was doing. I have a feeling that I'm going to like the 3s setup better but it's worth trying.

So 4s with a 12x6 is what I'll try this weekend.

I got in 3 quick flight tonight out in front of my house. After spending some time with my bigger planes I thought I'd have to actually increase expo on this little fella but I ended up decreasing it further! Doesn't make sense to me but that's what I had to do to make it feel right. Now I'm running 55% on rudder, 50% on elevator and 60% on ailerons.

I noticed the elevator the most. I was having trouble doing a decent harrier landing. I'm not sure if it's all the sim time or what...

Is the 2820 950 motrofly motor the popular one for this plane?
Or is omega the way to go vs motrofly?

Omega is the least expensive, and certainly flies the plane very well.....

Just don't use that 15x6 with 4s or you'll kill your motor!!
