Wow Wamsy...........that's great flying!

I have the 48" Edge that looks just like that but doesn't seem to quite have the same flying capabilities. I wonder if 3DHS left something out of my ARF??

The ARF was easy to assemble, no problems there. I've checked in the box and there wasn't anything left over but I better call Noll and make sure I received everything.

I wonder if it has anything to do with pilot skills??

If I can get to being half that skilled I'll be very happy!

I think besides the hands of Joe Smith a certain amount of 'testicular fortitude' is also required to fly like wamsy.

I think that charger allows you to switch 500W on one side to the other channel for a total of 1000W

It looks like I may in fact be able to pick up the PowerLab 6 today from the LHS. I can use my existing power supply for now, albeit only 12V, I will look at getting a 24V power supply later when I get the bigger helicopter.

Just eyeing it and it's only a matter of time. It will charge at 10A and would charge up my junk in about 7 minutes. Currently I have a $60 charger that is a single and charges my junk at 5A in 14 - 15 minutes.

Cool, I picked up the Powerlab 6 today, hopefully I can get to use it this week.

Pretty sweet charger. I checked out the specs and might have to put that on my wish list right after 2 more new servos, Anderson Power poles and crimping tool. I am seriously considering going to a DX7, DX8 or an Aurora 9. Will probably stick with Spektrum so I don't have to replace a bunch of receivers too.

Go with the hitec A9, I have had one for two years and use it almost everyday and have never had a single issue and the touch screen makes setting up a plane simple. Plus all the receivers are full range without the need for a satilite and you can update the receivers and radio from home using the HPP-22 And your computer. Also there receivers are cheap, $51 for a full range 6 channel, or $70 for a full range 7 channel. Plus the Hitec has telementary if that is what you are in to, and the A9 has no problems unlike spectrum. Also if you shop around occasionally you can find one on sale for only $350 with a receiver. And dont forget hitecs legendary customer service. I dropped my radio on the ground and broke the antenna off and sent it back to hitec and they fixed it free of charge. In the end of the day hitec is they way to go, and have a radio that fits the budget and you can be confident it will not glitch on you.

I have the A9 as well and love it but in reality you just need to pick what you like. Then you will like it. Everyone has an opinion on transmitters. The only one I think is wrong is that "the other brand sucks." You will always be able to find someone who hates the brand you like. They all have pros and cons and a whole package of value. Just find the one that jives with what you want and buy it for whatever reason you decide. I flew spektrum for two years and loved it. I liked the Hitec for other reasons and am loving it. Incidentally I am still flying spektrum with a DM8 module made for Futaba. It has a little mod that makes it work in my A9. So I guess I am flying hitec, spektrum, and futaba all at the same time

As far as telemetry goes it would be nice to see what the volts are in my flight pack. GPS would be nice if I bought or built another speed plane. Futaba 8FG looks good too it is good enough for Joe.
