"scratch-built kits" ?
I think that's an oxymoron.
scratch building means just that : starting from scratch, making your own drawings, cutting all the piseces yourself..
Or at least, building from a plan, and cutting all the pieces yourself.

Assuming you meant a kit, not plans (scratch-built typically means cutting your own wood and assembling from plans), then search here for the Bird of Time, also listed as BOT. It's about the prettiest, and best flying wooden kit around, so they say. I don't have one (yet - waiting for a good 3m ARF)
