So flying my little Slick today I realized that I've never fallen in love with my Vyper. Anyone want to buy a used one? Figured I'd ask you guys first...

No flying for us today, we were out late at my niece's wedding.
Sounds like you guys had fun on Sat. though.

So I went to the Wild Animal Park in Camp Verde with my wife today. It is a very cool place, check it out if you get a chance.

Ok now for the plane stuff. Got the go ahead to get my very own 71 AJ Slick. The answer is no, I can't seem to order any other model. This will make slick # 6 if I get the 51 backup airframe from Dustywood next weekend.

Going to be a great Slickmas for me.

Either that, or you agreed to remodel the kitchen. ha

I guess you could also say "a Slick is the only kind of airplane I have..." Sounds kinda like just one plane.

Nah, my wife wouldn't but that either...

Moltrolfly installed in the 59,very nice winding job.
The physical size of the motrolfly is a tad smaller,but it weighs 1.3oz more.Fired it up with a Falcon 15x7 from ADC,sounds sweet,didnt wattmeter it though.

Weighs more, eh? Theoretically more watts then? Did you measure the watts with the old motor with the same prop? Would be curious to know how they compare...

Got the old motor watts with an APC 15x7,around 1100 with the 710kv Gforce40, I'll swap the prop back and see what I get on the 750kv Motrolfly.
Just hope it's a long lived motor this time

forecast says clear with zero chance of rain from 8AM on but only 40 deg at 9AM. I'll not be out before 9 for sure

Motrolfly was great. Ted snapped the gear off in two places(different landings) on the yak. Must have been bad gear, they were mellow landings. Flew the yak briefly, think I like more than the 42,fun plane.
