Using smaller Rx on Eurgle/turnigy 9x

Hi ,
I have my new Eurgle (generation 3) 9channel
and thanks to help from the group now have it binding and working fine .

If I were to make a model that required less channels , then I believe from
what I read on this forum that I can use say a 3 or 6 channel receiver but this
of course will only allow me to use the first 3 or 6 channels on my Tx

My question is do I, have to use a Eurgle Rx ( same make as Tx) or are there other makes of receiver that will work with my transmitter .

Regards
Don

You can use receivers made by same manufactuer, FlySky, in same version.
Turnigy, HobbyKing are other brands made by FlySky.
It is difficult to determine what version the receiver is if it is not specified.

I'm using these two Hobbyking receivers with my Flysky. They will work on the Turningy. Also, if you use your turnigy on a simulator, you can get an extra 6ch receiver, cut a bind plug, connect the output wires from the siim cable to wires on the bind plug, and plug it into the bat plug and use it as a wireless interface. You will need to add power to the reciever. I did this by taking a servo plug, and connecting it to a usb plug and getting power from my computer. Although I have to plug the power into the receiver and power on the tx before I plug the sim cable, because the receiver goes into bind mode if I power it on with the sim plugged in.
