I thought tether cars died in the UK in the early 1970's, looks like I was wrong!

Below are some pictures of a water cooled 4 cylinder I built about 15 years ago or so. It displaces 1.2 and was built from Merritt Zimmerman plans. I made my own castings. I hadn't run it in a really long time and am prepping it to run. I am putting a lighter fly wheel on it and am replacing the carb I made with an O.S. I was think that this would make a nice car power plant.

G'day Reginald,

Can you give me the history of the coupe and belly tank please. I knew of fibreglass shells for a tethered belly tank but not aluminium and certainly not the coupe.

Are these recent reproductions?

Gary Barnes in the USA for example but click on control line cars on ebay and there will pop up a casting from time to time.
