Help!
Emc vega?!?

Does anyone know whats going on with EMC Vega?

http://www.emc-vega.de/en_GB

I put in an order of line 3 weeks ago and have heard nothing back from them. Now I'm a pretty patient guy, but when communication stops after I send money...

Doing a search brings up this thread...

Had few orders there and their service is not the fastest- i tryed to contact them several times but never got a response at all. Goods was shipped 1-3 weeks after placing the order and sometimes they does not updates the shipping info at all- on website shows the package is processing but its already arrived.
I dont think you should worry about them, there are no chances they are gona take your money and leave you- just give a little more patience because they are realy slow sometimes.

They had there summer holidays from 23th of June till 4th of July. Maybe this explains some of the delay

A couple things. First it is holiday season in Germany, so very little business activity will happen. Second, they aren't exactly big on communication there. You will get your line, but if they had a holiday or a major contest to support, chances are it will take a while. Plus they are getting line out to the F3B teams for the WC. The best time to order will be after the F3B WC.

In past experience, calling HB is better than emailing.

Thanks for the feedback guys. HB was very helpful and responsive...until after I paid for the rather large line order. No communications since the 16th. And because Paypal was used to pay for the items, and the 30 days is coming up, I am just a little concerned.

I wouldn't worry too much Tuan. My last line order took about a month to arrive from the order date and the only reply I got from them was after the line arrived.

I tried to buy a Vector III from EMC-Vega some 4 months ago.
First question on line was promptly answered.
Second e-mail had a 5 days delay.
Next ones ... no answer.

Then I ask for help from a German friend.
He did succeed to call Herr Einck but never got any further writen confirmation of the deal.
Never saw such thing happen in Germany.
Can't say good thinks about EMC-Vega.
I'm now buying from UK.

VonKross, where are you buying line from the UK?

Can anyone else share where one can buy Speed Line and Mega Line from? Thanks.

I wouldn't expect anything out of Germany until late August...like I said earlier..summer holidays. That applies to pretty much all model stuff from Germany.

Avaldes

Germany isn't France where everthing is shut down for 4 weeks during the Summer.
Most Companies have only a 2 week break but normaly post the dates when they out of service on their WP.

I had a hard time to communicate with HBE in the past and it's not a language barrier.

Cheers
Thomas
