MEGA 16/15/6 low cell count

A couple of posts by Megowcoupe got my interest a little more than a year ago. He suggested using 6 CP1300's. They can deliver lots of amps and have lots of capacity. The weight is not bad if you don't use too many of them. If you have a motor that can handle some current you can have a powerful package with good duration. I tried a MEGA 16/15/6 with these cells in a Tumblewatt with an enlarged wing(250 sq in, 31.5 span, slightly widened fuse, 18.5 oz). It works well. I used a 9-5 folder(12 amps). It is spirited. I have static tests on props up to APC 10-7(16.5 amps) but I so far have not been able to give up 8 min flights. This motor is very versatile(6 cells thru at least 10 cells).
