FlyCam Blackboard
Completed SMD PCB with MEMS Gyros.

We have released new version Blackboard.
The FlyCam Blackboard is Upgraded from kkMulticopter.
This board is the same way as the Blueboard.
This board can be connected to the FlyCam Naviboard.

Gyros: MEMS (2 axis + 1 axis)
Motor or Servo Output: 12 channels (Support for Butterfly, Octo, X8, Y6T, TwinQuad, TwinHexa, Dodeca, ...)
MCU: Atmega168

Hole distance: 45mm, 63.6mm
This Controller and the Blueboard are the same size.

and gps :-) :
This board supports Red, Blue, Black and All kkMulticopter Flight Controllers.

Auto leveling(MEMS Gyros + Acceleration sensor)
Yaw Control(Compass Sensor)
Height Control(Pressure Sensor)
Position Hold, Return to home(GPS, U-Blox 6)
Camera stabilizer(Pitch, Roll Servo Control)

Receiver (9 Channels Input)

Sonar Sensor(Option)

This board can be connected to the FlyCam OSD board.

Made in Korea.

For the price he wants for this, you're better off buying mikrokopter, lol.
Also, super clever placement of magnetic buzzer right next to the compass.
You can see a lot of thought went into designing this, especially with requirement to use a kkboard for motor control. The mind boggles.

Thats for the whole shebang but just the board with MEMS for $120 is not bad man

Initial test flights show that the board is very stable on roll and pitch axis. Yaw axis is still as bad as the blue board. Maybe even worse. I have Yaw gain just about maxed out and the quad seems to yaw around like a single main rotor helicopter with a bad rate gyro. It will slide from one side to the next and rarely stays in neutral for very long.

A full stick pirouette is very pretty though.

The balloon or deep flair coming off a fast forward flight is still there. I am using Flycam V2.0 firmware. I tried loading the KK V4.7 firmware for the quad X but it didn't work. So Minsoo has done something to his own firmware now.

Seisimic...

just the feedback we need to see.
I build all my own stuff, multis and cameramount. There are so many different controllers out there that (as a photographer) I don't want to download the weekly "best data" for my board. I just want a system that works, that won't break the bank (MK) so I was hoping Minsoo's board might have addressed a couple of the problems you have mentioned.
Looks like I may end up with Hoverflypro yet...

Right now for AP my first choice other than the MK (I have never flown a MK. This is only hearsay. One day I will get the MK just to say I have tried it) will be the HoverFly Pro. However I am getting a lot of good use out of the MultiWii Paris board. The trick is to match the frame to the controller. The Paris board likes a light weight rigid frame with long and skinny arms. I cannot tell you the theory behind that but that is what I have found after flying six multiwii board both plug and play and hacked-together-by-me. KK board is easy to use. Fun to fool around and very reliable. However it is not quite as refine and smooth as the MultiWii controller with the WMP gyros and BMA180 accelerometers.
