Eventually parts will be available through Skip. For now, I will keep selling parts until we get Skip stocked up.

Good stuff Tom!!! It is always nice to just think about one aspect and focus on it. Thinking about those sides of it does take a lot of the fun out of things!

For starters we're just doing a D-box using 64g Textreme. It's beyond stiff but some folks have asked for an all carbon version as well. I've made a few all carbon wings with vladimir's biaxial stuff but I'm leaning toward using 64g Textreme for the all carbon version too, simply because of the bling factor and cost / availability of materials.

There are two of the vlad carbon wings at the JEM this weekend, and one in my basement. I've got an all-64g Textreme wing in the molds now to compare weights... I'm expecting it to be within 3-4g of the vlad wing.

All carbon wings probably won't be in stock with Skip for a couple of months. I hope to get him some stock of the D-box wings in the next few weeks.

The Vlad carbon Fr3aKs worked well today. The launch is amazing with these planes...but it helps having Donnie and Paul A launching the The AUW is perfect with this ships too.

I got to check out the solid-core wings today as well and they look amazing! The finish is excellent and they hold up to hard launches. Very impressive work, Tom! The Super Fr3aK is a top ship!

Tom,

I realize this is over a year late, but this is why I went with your plane over a Blaster 3.

Tom and I tried this "trick" for real at The Bruce, but with my hollow moulded Stobel vs his solid core Freak.

I think it only put a little scuff mark on his LE, I opted to change models to finish the round.

It was a hard hit, but with a bit of CA I was able to harden up the spot on my le and use the model for the rest of the contest. Based on the video it could have been much worse.

Did everything come out okay Pat? That was a real hard hit.

I was lucky as that was my only flyable model at that contest.

Reminds me of my mid air at the toys 4 tots contest. My fr3ak left with some scratches but the polaris left with a 1/2" gash which I found to be interesting because both are solid core.
