HL mini Telemaster $30

Hello folks! I vist HL every once in a while just to see if they have anything new.... and, this time, I saw a mini telemaster for only $30. Looks like another one of those average, regular, conventional trainer planes, but this ones a perfect parkie size, it's a kit, which is a plus for folks ho enjoy building, and, well, it's dirt cheap!
Only two problems I see is that the motor mount is made for the nippy, which isn't neccessary on a trainer, and that the dihedral is really little. For a trainer, it might not be stable enough.

Sounds like a good first plane! Anybody have any thoughts?

Hey Michael,

There was a thread about this earlier in the week. Had quite a few responses including a couple from the designer I believe.

Here it is:

Where HAVE I been?
Not here, apparently! I spent less time on the computer these days, since I've gotten pretty ticked off that I chat all the time, but never fly or build. I have ahd a model on the building table for about 8 months now.... took 7.5 to build the fuselage, then I finished it in one week once I got to it I can't wait to fly it - the SIG Rascal.

Anyway, yeah, the telemaster really might become soemthing. There are about 50 regular looking, high-wing, flat-bottom, conventional similar looking planes. The only difference is decals, if even that. But, this is the same thing, BUT, it's a kit, and it's a small cute parkflier...with only THREE channels.
I would buy one, but the Sig Rascal is exactly this, but a bit more stylish, biiger, houses an elliptical wing, and costs twice the price. I think it's worth it. Everything I know - all of my balsa building skills came from varius challenges in the SIG Rascal
AARGH! Enough about the Rascal!

Guys, thanks for notifying me about the other thread. I'm never first with these things...
