Hey guys,

this is what I just got from bags.

It is in great shape.

I will have to check the v-tail linkages, as there is some slop. but all the rest seems to be very nice an tight. Everything is as described in emails and on the phone.

I am very happy now!! (my son also...)

A big thank you richard!!

I took some pictures. sorry the light was really bad as the sun went down already and I took them with my iPhone...(the last two have been taken by richard)

cheers,

cyril

New toy at home.

Unfortunately, nose color is wrong, but Samba is working on my white with black cabin one.

On the meantime, I'm starting to receive the internal stuff. Selecting components is complicated, since fuselage size is exactly the same than the glider one, so everything will fit really tight.

Hi Pierre!

Internal diameter is about 31 mm, wich reduces a lot the options for the motors, having in mind it must be inrunner. After a lot of search, I finally selected the Neu 1112/1Y with 6.7:1 gear and 16x10 folding propeller.

With 2x2s (4S) 1800 lipos, it should produce about 4 KGs of static trust, with about 2.5 minutes full throttle.

3S lipos will not fit, 2x2s is a must. 3S A123 doesn't fit either.

Servos must be really small. I selected Graupner DS289MG. I will try to fit 4 AA eneloop, if they don't move the CG (they must be behind the servo's plate). Other option is 4 AAA under the servo's plate.

I'll see when I have all the stuff with me.

See you soon at La Muela!

You will find the electro version quite a "fun" build. Don't give up! As you will be rewarded with this

Great video!

Do you have more photos of your build? What batteries have you used for the receiver?

Thank you very much for sharing.

Alvaro.
