Lots of interesting details there. What a great looking plane!
When I saw the MPX connector forward of the spar I wondered how you were going to fish the wire thru. Silly me, it's got RDS installed in the mold! Nice!
How does the wing ballast work? Is the rear ballast compartment on the c.g.? How do you mix/match with the joiner ballast and remain balanced? What do you do with the 3 large brass bars? A short one in each wing and the long one where? In the fuselage somehow?

Lastly, I don't understand the 2.4G thing. You can't just press the antennas against the outside of a carbon fuselage, they need to be a significant distance away from the carbon, particularly any carbon with strands running parallel to the antenna.

Ok, I have to admit, I can't wait to see Mike's Precision when it arrives.

Here is the picture I promissed. According to Samba, it works. I will tell you , given that I'm flying Jeti Duplex.

Regarding the ballast. I don't know where is located the CG, but I guess it is between the rear ballast compartiment and the joiner, and by mixing ballast, you can keep the CG at the same location.

The long brass ballast goes in one wing, the 2 shorts in the other wing.

Yes, it's RDS installed at factory.

Great looking model! I like the level of documentation they provide on the website too. Samba is doing an excellent job with both their engineering and their presentation. Like David, I am very interested to see this plane in person!

R tail: 38g
L Tail: 39 g
R wing: 640g
L Wing: 642g
Fuselage: 643g

Total: 2115g

RDS works fine. Given that MKS has less travel than other brand, I get 5mm to 8 mm up and around 70 to 80° down.
