Yea still missing one dang servo screw. Spent, believe it or not, the whole day cleaning my hobby room. No screw is site.

Elevator servo setup was getting a bit frustrating and i ended up with a hole on both sides of the fuse and elevator.. I just finished everything though, just waiting on the postman for my motor. You think i will be ok to maiden with a 11x5.5(i got a motrofly 2820-950)? I'm planning on running a larger pitch later but that's what i have on hand. Also what expo are you using?

A good bit..I flew my maiden on Saturday and I can handle a jumpy plane, but even with the low throws in the manual it was all over..I had to adjust the expo in the air in order to land it...40-50% is where I would start...

I always run 30 - 35% on low rates, 55-70% on hi rates.

It depends on your transmitter. I run my Hi-Tec Aurora a little higher than my spektrum DX7.

it is super responsive, I'm at 50/60/70 for low/mid/high, also, it needs some room to get off the ground, this will not take off in 5 feet like a 3d plane, 11x5.5 should be fine to start

I`m sure you do, but the planes never flown...If its too dull you can always land it and take some expo out...If you have it too high like I did you`ll be putting expo in while flying the maiden..I was never gonna land it the way I went up on the first flight...Its pretty responsive as noted..

I practice pattern flying with mine. A couple of the guys that fly in higher classes w/ 2m planes convinced me to lower my aileron and stabilizer throws. It really flies smooth and precise now doing aerobatic flying. Higher rates for the snaps, etc.

Wow.. I must be on the low end for expo then. I'm running 30-40% on high and 10-20% on low. But I fly with longer than standard sticks so there is some expo in that but its more linear.

The hard part of the elevator servo install was the routing of the servo wire. I have mine in the bottom of each former and that was a challenge.

I got the maiden +2 more flights before i had to go to work this morning. It was great I love the way it tracks and snaps. The snap rolls stop where you stop them every time. I don't have mid rates but i might play with that. I only have 2 triple rate switches though. I was a little too nose heavy for my liking but i'll mess with that for future flights. I also adjusted my expo after you guys said it was pretty responsive and i'm glad i did. I went from ~50% to ~65% on high rates and from 25% to ~50% on low rates. It felt about perfect. Landings are super smooth and easy. Now i just need to order some more props but for now the 11x5.5 will have to fly the plane around.

Yeah, I like the way it flies...Mine scoots with the Omega and a 11x7 and 3000ma packs.....Probably high 80s.....I was shocked that it needed that much expo as well...I have some 2650 packs to try on it, but I like just flying it WOT..
