Well-said Lance..... I agree with all he has said. My Omega 130 is on its way (the hacker A-30 size don't fit that well, a little to long). I hope to get it next week, maiden.....next weekend???? |

11x7 vs 12x6
If you have tried both what did you like/dislike?
I am using a 12x6 in a Aspera with Hacker V1 A30-12XL 770kv I have a 130G Omega that I am considering trying with a 11x7 Does the Omega run cool enough to run pack after pack? Wish I had a Osiris but I need to crash the Aspera first. |

11x7 vs 12x6
I’m running an 11 X 5.5 on my Aspera with a Hacker A30-12L 1000Kv. We clocked it at 109 MPH (OK it was in a dive, but that’s still fast) at our club BBQ this summer.
I have an Omega 130 in my Osiris and I’ve been running a 12 X 6 pulls very nice but not as responsive as the Aspera. I picked up an 11 X 7 this weekend but haven’t tried it out yet. I’ll post my finding after I try it out. Don’t crash the Aspera…..just have 2 great pattern planes at once. |

I revised the colour scheme on my Osiris to look more Canadian, and bit less red-white-and-blue stars-and-stripes. Easy to do, and I'm quite happy with it.
I just tried a 12x6 on mine this afternoon, and I didn't like it nearly as well as the 11x7. The 12x6 was a HobbyKing version, while the 11x7 is an APC, so that might have something to do with it. The 11x7 is faster, pulls better through the manoeuvres, and seems to run longer on a pack as well. Kevin |
