I have a fuse in my closet unassembled, if you want some pics of the motor box. Just tell me exactly what you need to see.

Please forgive me for stating this but...this must be your first 3DHS plane if you are asking about major problems or modifications. 3DHS has a first rate reputation for producing great planes out of the box. They do extensive testing prior to releasing each new model. The only mod I've heard of of is adding thin CA to the major stress points (motor box etc). As for the flying characteristics, have a look at Joe Smith's video in post #125. That's what the plane is capable of in the hands of a true expert. I say get it and be prepared for a huge, silly grin on your face for a long long time!

watched the video, and it is fast! iv'e been hearing so many great things about 3dhs so i figured i should try one out. i don't fly many aerobatic planes im mostly am into warbirds, i have a few aerobatic micro planes like the umx beast and extra 300 and i recently got a parkzone f27q stryker. iv'e really liked flying them and i want to get a balsa wood plane from 3dhs and the osiris looks awesome!

Well-said Lance..... I agree with all he has said.

My Omega 130 is on its way (the hacker A-30 size don't fit that well, a little to long). I hope to get it next week, maiden.....next weekend????

See if 3DHS has a new motor box kit in stock and look at the video
I did this repair on my 47" Velox and it works great.

I didn't square up the phone to the frame on the last pic, but the right side of the mb IS shorter, that's not the photo.

Dude!! I want one of these!!

But I don't have the cash now that IU have outfitted my 71" Slick.

This would be perfect for the neighborhood.

I have a NIB 47" Osiris in red. If we do LPU in So Cal I can let it go for $180.

11x7 vs 12x6

If you have tried both what did you like/dislike?

I am using a 12x6 in a Aspera with Hacker V1 A30-12XL 770kv
I have a 130G Omega that I am considering trying with a 11x7
Does the Omega run cool enough to run pack after pack?

Wish I had a Osiris but I need to crash the Aspera first.

11x7 vs 12x6

Iím running an 11 X 5.5 on my Aspera with a Hacker A30-12L 1000Kv. We clocked it at 109 MPH (OK it was in a dive, but thatís still fast) at our club BBQ this summer.

I have an Omega 130 in my Osiris and Iíve been running a 12 X 6 pulls very nice but not as responsive as the Aspera. I picked up an 11 X 7 this weekend but havenít tried it out yet. Iíll post my finding after I try it out.

Donít crash the AsperaÖ..just have 2 great pattern planes at once.

I revised the colour scheme on my Osiris to look more Canadian, and bit less red-white-and-blue stars-and-stripes. Easy to do, and I'm quite happy with it.

I just tried a 12x6 on mine this afternoon, and I didn't like it nearly as well as the 11x7. The 12x6 was a HobbyKing version, while the 11x7 is an APC, so that might have something to do with it. The 11x7 is faster, pulls better through the manoeuvres, and seems to run longer on a pack as well.
