Thanks Rhich, I have to finish these ones, then the nose retract with ligths steering and scale details and then I could produce 2 more. Not to much spare time

I already started the building based om 70mm I Considered your suggestion but the weight is an issue with the scale details I have planed to put into.

The Minifan (70mm) FSA is 29.4 sq cm, while the Microfan (50mm) is 13.9 sq cm.

You would have to build light though!

Wing airfoil

I've been working some time to find the best airfoil for the wing root in order to have space to acommodate the landing gear and I came up to a modified version of S8035 symmetric and transition to a Clark Y on the tips. Have to twist the wing a lot to compensate for the higher root stall AOA.

It's due to the high angle of attack during the snapshot in the simulation. There are no winglets on the 767-200 cargo, or at least those which I fly.

Cool stuff, looking forward to seeing more of your build.

Cheers,

I just made the wheel axles and installed the 1.5" wheels. No custom wheels yet. The size of these wheels match great to the scale gear I made.

Working on the Nose landing gear. It will rotate more than 110 degrees. The tail section is to be molded in fiberglass in one piece along with the vertical stab.

Thanks BillO, This is what I did today on the nose gear design. I'm not home now so these parts will have to wait one week to be done. The gear doors are to be splited an no idea how will they be operated. The same for the main gear doors. I'll think about it later.

I've been working mostly in the CAD wings and stabilizers design, so not to much building. I made the dummy brakes for each main wheel. I've seen them red hot after a high altitude landing and then tires being deflated.
