Yeah, in looking at it more closely, it does have some scale problems. That rear gunner window is WAY off.

IMO, the best deal (for US pilots) is the HK 1875mm green version for $220 shipped. I hoping that it won't be that hard to paint and re-decal her to look every bit as good as the silver version which is twice the price by the time you include the shipping/tax.

Still waiting for mine to show up....hopefully next week.

Are you saying that you have highres scans of the decals of this model?
Including all the maintenance stencils and instructions where to put them?
That might be just what it takes to make the 1875mm "trenchcoated-glossygreen wannabefortress" become a somewhat decent plane... together with some spackling and a paintjob

Yup, I HAVE done highres scans of ALL the decals for BOTH versions including stencils. Unfortunately however not even Royal gave any instructions on decal placement for the stencilling. Personally I just use instructions from an old 1/48 scale monogram kit, and 'in detail & scale', lol. What's unfortunate is the file size (29mb). If you like I can email them to you.

best would be to upload it on Rapidshare or similar. Can you do that? I think 29MB is too large to send via email...

I ordered mine on tuesday and after clearing up a stuck payment issue it's sitting in the warehouse queue. I'm hoping they can get it out so I have it in time to work the bugs out before our big E-fly in in 2 weeks.

The tracker says mine left Hong Kong on the 11th. This is gonna take forever!
