I have one that is a year old, (and I still love it!) But I think the newer version has some upgrades. The original retracts were pretty wimpy and did not last long, but I believe they may have been improved. Someone else should chime in here if the newer version comes with improved retracts, or if people are getting good use from the stock ones. If not, you might want to order some HK 514 or 716 retracts just so you have them on hand when the stock ones fail. I am still using the original tail wheel retract after 100+ flights. I think this plane is a great deal and it looks awesome in the air and on the ground. It lands sooooo nice, especially with those giant flaps at 40 degrees.
EDIT: I just checked reviews on hobbyking site and people seem to say the stock retracts are strong enough and working fine, so that was good to see.

I transport mine in my Toyota Avensis and I need to fold the back seats. But basically if you can get room for the length of the wing span you should be ok (1.6m/63in). I would upgrade the retracts, especially if you fly from grass. The stock one survived 2-3 flights one mine - if you land smooth every time they might hold longer I now have these:

I use 2x3000mah in parallel. Gives me almost 10min.

OK, once I return home from this work trip, I will be taking my bird for her maiden flight. While I was away, I bought so.me swastikas model stickers for her for shoot downs,,, which side of the canopy do I place these. From my research, it looks as if they placed them all on the left side.... I have about 10 of them that will represent kills

I've had a problem taking off lately and for some reason, the plane would veer left and I couldn't get it turning right....well I found the problem! The tailwheel steel cable connector was hitting the vertical pushrod guide....so I cut a bunch of wood away and tomorrow we will see if it was that (which I'm sure it was) or me (couldn't be pilot error could it????) .

I use the ones linked below. You have to remove some foam to fit them, but they are good. See my posts earlier in this thread to see more.
