Ya I'm looking for 3.5kg thrust for under 100amps 6-8S. If you can beat that you're in Wemo territory. If its much more affordable than Efflux Mach then you may have something.

You never gonna beat the wemo in efficiency, even the stumax run at the same power puts out the same thrust, you buy it for the sound of 11 blades. Will be interesting to see some outside tests of the EPF and get some real world figures.

Will do! If it sounds as good as the smaller versions, I'll have to put one in my EF2000.

Both of them sound more like jet turbine than Mecury 64.

EPF; I just hope they're not amp hogs or heavy. 3kg at 65amps is the new black or even 3.5kg at 80amps. Otherwise it would still fall short of a Wemo.

In your opinion is the design crash or rough landing sensative? That is much harder to bend a shaft in the process?

Even if they are only on an efficiency par (thrust/w) with other units out there, I'm still in for the sound and the layout. I know some people don't like it so much, but I think its great. Supporting the fan front and rear is a big plus for me
