NEW Viking 2 F3F
seems to be very rare in the US. Started mine a few weeks ago and yesterday i maidened the viking.
aileron: MKS 6125 mini
V-tail: MKS 6125h
That was my setup for the maiden flight:
1. ailerons: -18/+10
2. elevator: -8/+6
3. Snapflap (Flaps): +4
4. Thermik: ailerons and flaps +3
5. Speed: ailerons and flaps -2
6. rudder: -10/+10
7. Flaps to aileron mix: -2/+2
8. Butterfly: ca. 80 degree down and aileron 30% up Elevator 4mm down. Will programm elevator in a curve during the first flight.
3,4,5,7 on a switch
The CG is now by 104mm. Final weight 2485gr.
My setup was ok, but i will have to change a few settings.
Thermal Setting has to be reduced. The model got very slow and instable.
Speed setting is to much for me. The model got fast but decided to get down to earth as well.
Snapflap could be more but i will test it on harder conditions before.
Butterfly works perfect.
It feels really good to fly the viking. Very easy to handle. Finds his own way.
Weight is absolutly ok.
Video is on the way....

Thank you all,
the contact to Jiri seems to be very difficult. But you've bought a good alternative model pierre. Anyhow, it is much more expensive.
I wouldn't have bought it via Jiri. That would be frustrating. I bought it second hand empty and new.
I never flew the viking I so i can't compare it to the new one.
5 weeks to go then i'm off to the coast of Denmark.
